Guests of the "Sicangu Lakota Oyate" will discover rich culture and heritage. The "Sicangu Lakota Oyate" or "Burnt Thigh People" roamed and hunted the Great Plains for centuries. Today, they remain on the beautiful Rosebud Indian Reservation, in the heart of the Great Sioux Nation, also known as "God's Country," located in south-central South Dakota. Breathtaking canyons, rolling hills, timberland, colorful community celebrations and seasonal rodeos greet travelers to this area.
